About Dear Jack Foundation:
Founded in 2006 by musician and leukemia survivor Andrew McMahon, and headquartered in Denver, CO, the Dear Jack Foundation advocates for and supports initiatives that directly benefit adolescents and young adults (AYA), ages 18-39, diagnosed with cancer. The foundation supports organizations and provides programming that address the unique challenges the AYA community faces during and post-treatment. Through outreach, collaboration, and focused initiatives, DJF works to create more positive health outcomes and improved quality of life for all young adults in this fight. Dear Jack Foundation is a national initiative with programs in Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Scottsdale, and Boston.
"The adolescent and young adult cancer community has so much to offer this world. We are ready for the world to meet us on our journeys through treatment, recovery, and survival. With your help, we can make this possible. Thank you.” — Andrew McMahon, founder | musician
"There is no other way to put it. I could never say thank you enough to the Dear Jack Foundation for giving me and my family hope during a very difficult time in our lives." — Kari Lee, Dear Jack LifeList Warrior
